How to Prepare Cloud Eggs
Step 1 – Preheat the Oven
The oven has to be preheated to 350 degrees F. A baking sheet should be lined with parchment and then coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2 – Beat the Egg Whites
Four small bowls should be coated with nonstick cooking spray. After that, you should separate the eggs. The whites should be put into a medium bowl, and the yolks should be placed into small bowls (one yolk goes in one bowl). Next, you should add a large pinch of salt to the egg whites and beat with an electric mixer. The mixer should be on low speed. Beat until the stiff peaks form. This should take two or three minutes.
Step 3 – Prepare the Egg Clouds
Four large spoonfuls of the egg whites should then be dolloped onto the prepared baking sheet. Create a small well in the middle of each of them. The egg whites should be baked until they are firm and no longer wet. When ready, the egg clouds should just start to turn brown. This will probably take about six minutes. One yolk should then gently be poured into the well of each white. The cloud eggs are, after that, baked until the yolk just begins to set while still being runny. This will last three to four minutes. The eggs are finally seasoned with salt and garnished with chives, as well as chili flakes.
Step 4 – Serve on Buttered Toast
The cloud eggs should be served on top of buttered brioche toast.
Eggs Are Good for the Body
